Skyscanner – your flight planner – compares prices of majority of airlines to indicate the best deal

Google – the idea is the same as for Skyscanner – compares prices and gives you the cheapest option

Traveldooz – new travel aggregator search site, providing instant online price comparisons for millions of flights and hotels worldwide.

Eurolines – this website has a low fare finder for buses from UK to Europe

Megabus – check their website to look for cheap bus tickets, if you do your research right you might even get a fare for £1.00!!!

TheTrainLine – great opportunities to travel to Brussels, Paris and Amsterdam by bus for fraction of the cost and by train using Global and One Country Pass.

Seat61 – thanks go to beatstheoffice for this tip! Any country, any train, this guy knows what he is talking about.

 FIND A PLACE TO STAY – looking for a hotel room? This might be your starting point.

Trivago – check them out as well for a cheap deals on hotel rooms.

Eurocamping – fancy a change? Check this site for campsites! –  the only website that freely lists information on all hostels worldwide and compare the prices. 

HostelBookers – search for cheap accommodation at hostels worldwide.

HostelWorld – search for hostels around the world here to to compare prices.


HouseCarers – take care of someone else’s house to get free accommodation, £30 annual registration fee.

MindMyHouse – free accommodation for only £12.00 registration fee, annually.

TrustedHouseSitters – Registration costs £29 for three months, £39 for six months or £49 for 12 months.

CouchSurfing – create your own account and became a guest or a host!

AirBnb – 192 countries and 600,000 properties listed!  People rent out their rooms, apartments, and houses to others who looks for a place to stay. Access it via The Tales of Traveler to get some nice credit 🙂

Wimdu – fantastic site offering great alternatives for hotels stays – remember to add a little bit of commission when checking the prices. Still worth checking as you might be able to struck the deal with them! Good for looking for a long stay accommodations too!


TravelSupermarket – great website to compare companies renting a car and other useful things like holidays and travel insurance.

AutoEurope – compares rental prices from around the world.

RentalCars – they guarantee cheap car hire, so it is worth to give them a go too! The more the merrier 🙂 

EasyCar – useful if you have any discount with Easy Jet – again, good to see what they have to offer.


WorldWeatherOnline – great resource to check daily weather through world

TravelSupermarket – if you want to find out where is hot where – that is the place you need to go to!

BBCWeather – another great website for your weather checking needs!


FreeInEurope – I am always looking for free stuff to do whenever I go. This might be your starting point!

AboutTravel – their website lists some free stuff to do in London, Paris and other places in Europe.

SkyScannerFree – They listed 20 free things to do in Europe – look here for inspirations!

HostelWorldFree – 50 free things to do in Asia!


CityDiscover – find tours and other attractions available in cities here.

GAdvetures – Exciting ideas for tours.

InterPidTravel – Brillant tours if you need an idea.


JustPark – we often travel to airport by our car and sometimes the airport car park is too expansive – try this website, we used it few times so we can recommend it! You will need to create an account and you can leave feedback 🙂 I used it when I need to travel to London and its just easier and cheaper to get to Richmond, park the car and go by tube!

NHS – advises on your health needs when traveling.
